  • The Krohn Racing team was formed by Tracy W. Krohn in late 2005.
  • Krohn serves as owner and driver alongside longtime co-driver Nic Jönsson of Sweden.
  • Team’s inaugural race was the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January 2006 with a single car, which finished in the Top Five. Krohn Racing won the 2006 Grand-Am Driver’s Championship and was second in the Team Championship.
  • Krohn has continued to compete in Grand-Am every year since through its end in 2012, collecting five victories, 15 podium finishes and four poles.
  • Krohn Racing has two podiums (2nd & 3rd) at Le Mans in association with Risi Competizione, and a 3rd place at Sebring in ALMS, as well as another podium (3rd) at Le Mans as Krohn Racing in 2012.
  • In 2011 Krohn Racing won the inaugural ILMC race at the 12 Hours of Sebring and closed the year with a victory at Petit Le Mans in the GTE-Am class and finished second in the GTE-Am Team Championship.
  • For the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship, Krohn celebrated four podiums (one second-place and three third-place finishes) and was third in the GTE-Am Team Championship.

2006
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - Krohn Racing’s first ever race was the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January 2006 with a single car. They finished in the Top Five with drivers Tracy W. Krohn, Nic Jönsson, Jörg Bergmeister and Colin Braun. Bergmeister and Colin Braun/Boris Said won three races that season with Jörg Bergmeister capturing the 2006 Grand-Am DP Driver’s Championship. Krohn Racing was second in the DP Team Championship with eight Top 5 finishes.

Krohn-White Lightning Racing  - Krohn Racing joined with White Lightning to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and had a DNF, with drivers Krohn, Jönsson and Bergmeister.

2007
FULL SEASON RESULTS
Grand-Am - The Krohn Racing team fielded two Pontiac Rileys and finished fourth in the Grand-Am Prototype Team Championship after collecting six podiums, nine Top Five, and 15 Top Ten finishes, as well as two pole positions.

In March of 2007, Proto-Auto LLC was created as a partnership between Lola Cars in the United Kingdom and Krohn Racing in the United States to build new Prototype chassis for Grand-Am Rolex Series competition for 2008. The cars were delivered and tested in late December 2007 and competed in their first race in March 2008 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Krohn-Risi Competizione - Krohn Racing and Risi Competizione partnered to compete at four ALMS race (12 Hours of Sebring, Houston Grand Prix, Petit Le Mans and Laguna Seca) in the GT2 class. Additionally, the team finished 2nd on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with drivers Tracy Krohn, Nic Jönsson and Colin Braun.


2008
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - Krohn Racing competed with two new Pontiac Lolas in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, beginning at Homestead-Miami Speedway. At the Rolex 24 At Daytona the two car team drove Pontiac Rileys to a fourth and seventh-place finish. At Mexico City the team captured their first podium of the season, followed up by another podium at the Brumos Porsche 250 race at Daytona. In the 14 races during the 2008 season, Krohn Racing accumulated two podiums, six Top Five and 13 Top Ten finishes, as well as one pole position and one fastest lap.

Krohn-Risi Competizione - The Risi-Krohn Ferrari team finished third in the GT2 class at the 12 Hours of Sebring with drivers Krohn, Jönsson and Eric van de Poele. They were fourth at the Petit Le Mans and also competed at Laguna Seca (11th) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (DNF).

2009
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - Krohn Racing competed in nine races with the No. 76 Krohn Racing Ford Lola of Nic Jönsson and Ricardo Zonta. They won their first Grand-Am DP race in the No. 76 Proto-Auto Lola Ford at New Jersey Motorsports Park in May and followed up with a victory at the Watkins Glen 200 in August. They finished 2nd
at Mid-Ohio and 5th at Barber. Darin Turner joined the duo for the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Tracy Krohn and Eric van de Poele paired at Daytona in January for the Rolex 24 (DNF), along with co-driver Oliver Gavin. Tracy and Eric returned to the Daytona sprint in July for a 9th place finish.

Krohn-Risi Competizione - Krohn, Jönsson and van de Poele competed at the 12 Hours of Sebring (6th place) and 24 Hours of Le Mans (3rd place) in the Risi-Krohn Ferrari 430 GT.

2010
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - For the 2010 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series season, Krohn Racing ran one car (No. 75 Krohn Racing Ford Lola) with owner/driver Tracy Krohn and Nic Jönsson. Krohn and Jönsson teamed with Ricardo Zonta and Colin Braun for the Rolex 24 At Daytona and finished an impressive fourth. Additionally, Krohn won the “Jim Trueman Award” for top Pro-Am driver of the race at the Rolex 24 and Montreal 200. The Miami Grand Prix race netted a 13th place finish and at Barber and VIR the team was 11th. Jönsson collected his first Grand-Am Prototype pole at Lime Rock Park, where he and Tracy finished 9th. At the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen race, Krohn and Jönsson started and finished in the 11th position and were 12th at Mid-Ohio. Tracy and Nic finished 6th at the Daytona 250 sprint in July. They were 13th at both the New Jersey Motorsports Park and the Watkins Glen 200. The team finished 7th at the Montreal 200 race in August and 10th at the Miller finale in Salt Lake City.

Krohn-Risi Competizione - Krohn rejoined Risi Competizione for three races in the Ferrari 430 GTE (12 Hours of Sebring, 6 Hours of Monterey in Laguna Seca and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.) Eric van de Poele returned as a co-driver for Sebring and Le Mans. The team finished seventh in GT2 class in the 12 Hours of Sebring in March. Tracy and Nic competed in the 6 Hours of Monterey ALMS race to a ninth in class and 16th overall finish. The team had a DNF at the 2010 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

2011
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - Krohn Racing competed at the Rolex 24 at Daytona with the No. 76 Krohn Racing Ford Proto-Auto Lola to a 6th place finish. Drivers were team owner/driver Tracy W. Krohn, Nic Jönsson, Ricardo Zonta and Nicolas Minassian.

Intercontinental Le Mans Cup Series/American Le Mans Series - Krohn Racing competed in a Ferrari 430 GT in the GTE-Am class for the full ILMC schedule with team owner/driver Tracy W. Krohn and Nic Jonsson, finishing second overall in the GTE-Am class team championship points. Italian Michele Rugolo joined Krohn and Jonsson in the cockpit for all but one race. The trio won in class at the inaugural ILMC race at the 12 Hours of Sebring and the Petit Le Mans but had a DNF at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The No. 57 Ferrari finished eighth in class at the 1000 km of Spa with Krohn and

Jönsson, third at the 6 Hours of Zhuhai (China) and seventh at both the 6 Hours of Imola and the 6 Hours of Silverstone with the Krohn, Jonsson, Rugolo driver trio.

2012
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - Krohn Racing competed at the Rolex 24 at Daytona with the No. 76 Krohn Racing Proto-Auto Lola Ford with team owner/driver Tracy W. Krohn, Nic Jonsson, Ricardo Zonta and Colin Braun. They finished the 24-hour race in 11th position after a drive train issue sidelined the car for over an hour.

FIA World Endurance Championship - Krohn Racing competed in all eight races on the WEC schedule with drivers Tracy W. Krohn, Nic Jonsson and Michele Rugolo, the same trio who finished second in the ILMC championship in 2011. They fielded a new Ferrari F458 in the GTE-Am class, finishing third the Championship. The team stood on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing third in the GTE-Am class. They were also third at the 6 Hours of Silverstone, 6 Hours of Bahrain and the 6 Hours of Shanghai. Krohn Racing was second at the 6 Hours of Fuji. The team finished fifth at the 12 Hours of Sebring, seventh at the 6 Hours of Spa and suffered a DNF at Sao Paulo.

2013
FULL SEASON RESULTS

Grand-Am - Krohn Racing also competed at the Circuit of the Americas Grand-Am with the No. 76 Krohn Racing DP Ford with team owner/driver Tracy W. Krohn and Nic Jonsson, finishing a respectable sixth in a two year old DP car. Tracy, Nic, Emanuel Collard and Romain Dumas competed in a Porsche GT at the Rolex 24 at Daytona but had a DNF due to mechanical issues.

FIA World Endurance Championship - The Krohn Racing No. 57 Ferrari F458 competed in the entire 2013 WEC season with Krohn, Jönsson and Maurizio Mediani in the GTE-Am class. The team had a fifth place finish at the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, sixth place at the 6 Hours of Silverstone and 6 Hours of Fuji, seventh place at the 6 Hours of Spa, eighth at the 6 Hours of Austin and DNFs at the 6 Hours of Shanghai, 6 Hours of Bahrain and the 24 Hours of Le Mans that season.

2014
FULL SEASON RESULTS

IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship - Krohn Racing competed in a partial IMSA TUDOR schedule with full-time drivers Tracy Krohn and Nic Jonsson, including the four IMSA North American Endurance Challenge (NAEC) events, and the 6 Hours of COTA with FIA WEC, as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The team finished seventh at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, fourth at the 12 Hours of Sebring, eleventh at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and the Six Hours of the Glen at Watkins Glen, and ninth at Petit Le Mans, all in the GTE-LM class. Andrea Bertolini and Peter Dumbreck co-drove at the 24 Hours at Daytona, and Bertolini joined Krohn and Jönsson for the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

ACO/ FIA World Endurance Championship - Krohn Racing finished 10th at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race with Tracy Krohn, Nic Jonsson and Brit Ben Collins co-driving in the GTE-Am class. Collins joined the team again at COTA for a sixth place finish in GTE-Am of the FIA WEC Six Hours of COTA.

2015

Krohn Racing competes for the first time in the Ligier JS P2 powered by Judd engine and has chosen to race in selected IMSA races (P class), in the full season of European Le mans Series (LMP2 class) and was accepted to run in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (LMP2 class).

IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship - Krohn Racing is competing in a partial IMSA TUDOR schedule with full-time drivers Tracy Krohn and Nic Jonsson, including several races of the North American Endurance Challenge events -- The No. 57 Ligier JS P2 Judd competed in P class at Rolex 24 At Daytona (DNF) with drivers Tracy Krohn, Nic Jonsson, Alex Brundle, and Olivier Pla and the 12 Hours of Sebring (started 1st. finished 8th) with drivers Krohn, Jonsson and Pla.

FIA European Le Mans Series (ELMS) - Krohn Racing was awarded an LMP2 entry for the 2015 ELMS season.  IMSA driver Oswaldo (Ozz) Negri, Jr. is the third co-driver for four of the five ELMS events with Krohn and Jonsson. The No. 40 Ligier JS P2 Judd -  4 Hours of Silverstone (4th), 4 Hours of Imola (5th); 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring (5th) (with third driver, Julien Canal); and 4 Hours of Paul Ricard (5th) and 4 Hours of Estoril (8th) with third driver Olivier Pla.

ACO 24 Hours of Le Mans - Krohn Racing, with the new Ligier-Judd, was awarded an LMP2 entry for the 83rd running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, June 13-14 with drivers Krohn, Jonsson and Joao Barbosa. The team started in 17th position and finished in 12th in a field of 19.
